Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Trigger Terminal (the "Service"), the trading software available on this website together with its Chrome extension and MetaTrader Expert Advisor. By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
In short: Trigger Terminal is software that helps you look at markets and send your own orders. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, it does not provide trading signals, and it does not manage your money. You decide every trade and you alone are responsible for the result. You can lose all the money you trade with.

1. The Service
The Service provides charts, market data, a paper-trading simulator, tools to send orders to exchanges and brokers you connect, automation (webhook bots, DCA bots, message listeners), a scanner, a trade journal, Pine Script tools and optional AI features. The Service does not hold customer funds, is not an exchange, broker, investment firm or custodian, and does not execute orders itself: orders are passed to the exchange or broker you choose through trigger.trade webhooks, the Trigger Terminal Chrome extension running in your browser, or the MetaTrader Expert Advisor running on your computer.
2. No advice, no signals, risk
- No advice. Nothing in the Service — including charts, indicators, scanner results, market data, suggested stop-loss or take-profit levels, AI outputs, library scripts or any content shared by other members — is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell anything.
- No signals. We do not publish trade ideas or trading signals and do not recommend any signal provider, Telegram or Discord channel, strategy or script. Features that read TradingView alerts or chat messages only act on sources you choose and configure.
- High risk. Crypto-assets, futures, perpetual swaps, CFDs, margin and leverage are highly risky and volatile. You can lose some or all of your money quickly, and with leverage losses can exceed what you expected. Past, simulated or back-tested performance does not predict future results.
- Your decisions. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, your position sizes, leverage and risk settings, and for checking every order before and after it is sent. Consider independent professional advice before trading.
- Legality. You are responsible for making sure that trading the products you trade, and using the exchanges you use, is legal where you live, and for any taxes and reporting.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may not use the Service where doing so is prohibited, or to reach exchanges or services that are not available in your country. We do not help anyone get around regional restrictions of exchanges or other providers.
4. Accounts and invitations
- During the beta, accounts are created by invitation only. An invitation may come with a plan and a time limit; it may be withdrawn or expire.
- Keep your password and two-factor codes secret. You are responsible for everything done with your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused.
- One person per account. Do not share, sell or transfer your account.
5. Plans and features
Access to features and usage limits depends on your plan (for example Free, Paid, Affiliated or Unlimited). Plans, their contents, limits and any prices may change; a plan given for a limited time ends on its end date and the account then moves to the Free plan. Where a plan depends on having registered at a partner exchange through our referral link, we may check this and change the plan if it no longer applies. If prices are introduced, they will be shown before you agree to pay, and paid plans will be subject to the terms shown at that time.
6. Exchange accounts and API keys
- The website accepts only read-only API keys (used to show balances, positions and trade history) and refuses keys with trading permission where the exchange reports it. Keys for trading belong in the Trigger Terminal Chrome extension on your own device or in your trigger.trade account. For some exchanges (for example Alpaca or Revolut X) keys cannot be made read-only; only add them to the website if you accept that.
- Never enter withdrawal-enabled keys, wallet private keys or seed phrases anywhere in the Service.
- You are responsible for the security of your exchange accounts, your browser, your computer and your MetaTrader terminal, and for revoking keys you no longer use.
7. Bots, automation and third-party messages
Webhook bots, DCA bots, alerts and Telegram/Discord listeners act automatically on the settings you choose. Automation can fail or behave unexpectedly — for example because of delays, duplicated or missing alerts, unusual message formats, parsing mistakes, exchange rejections, rate limits, outages, a closed browser or a disconnected computer. Test with paper accounts first, use stop-losses and risk limits, and monitor your accounts. You are responsible for the sources you connect and for orders sent on your behalf by the tools you set up.
8. Paper trading, back-tests and data
Paper trading and back-tests are simulations. They do not include every real-world factor (slippage, partial fills, fees, funding, liquidity, latency, outages) and can look better than live results. Market data, funding, open interest, liquidation and other figures come from third parties, may be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and may be taken from a reference exchange rather than the one you trade on.
9. AI features
Optional AI features use a provider (such as Anthropic or OpenAI) with the API key you supply, at your own cost and under that provider's terms. AI outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete and are not advice. The AI never receives your exchange keys and cannot place orders.
10. Third-party services
The Service works with services we do not control, including exchanges and brokers, trigger.trade, TradingView, Telegram, Discord, MetaTrader and AI providers. Your use of them is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, actions, fees, errors or data.
11. Acceptable use
Do not: break the law or the rules of the exchanges you use; attempt to access other members' data or accounts; interfere with, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service; bypass plan limits or security; upload malicious code; use the Service for market manipulation; or publish content (for example in the Pine library, comments or your profile) that is unlawful, infringing, misleading or presented as investment advice or signals. Scripts you share remain yours; you confirm you have the right to share them and allow members to use them within the Service. Protected library scripts may be used but not copied or extracted.
12. Availability and changes
The Service is a beta and is provided "as is" and "as available". It may be interrupted, changed, limited or discontinued at any time, features may be added or removed, and data may occasionally be lost. Keep your own records of anything important. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the Service and continuing to use it after that means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, missed opportunities, liquidations, fees or indirect damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including losses caused by bugs, delays, incorrect data, automation, third-party services or unauthorised access to your accounts. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including for fraud, gross negligence or intentional misconduct, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, put the Service or other members at risk, or when an invitation or plan ends. Sections 2, 7, 8, 13 and 16 continue to apply after your account ends.
15. Privacy
- What we keep: your username, a salted password hash, two-factor settings, your plan, the settings and accounts you add (including read-only API keys), your signal and bot logs, alerts, paper trades, journal entries, drawings, scripts and saved charts, plus basic technical logs.
- Why: only to run the Service for you, keep it secure and enforce these Terms. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Who else sees it: data is sent to third parties only when needed for a feature you use (for example your exchange, trigger.trade, Telegram/Discord or your AI provider).
- Cookies: one essential sign-in cookie. Your browser also stores display preferences (such as chart settings) locally. No tracking or advertising cookies.
- Your rights: you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies you also have the rights it gives you, including complaining to your data-protection authority.
16. General
These Terms are governed by French law, without affecting mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. If a provision is found invalid, the rest remains in force. Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact link on the homepage or to the person who invited you.
